The old version of this site had a section called Gyan for the day - one quote, swapped in now and then. It even quoted Mewtwo once:
"The circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are."
Gyan is a Sanskrit word for knowledge. On this site it means the kind you earn by getting something wrong first. Definitions are cheaper.
This page is where that idea grows up: things I've learned, built, questioned, and changed my mind about. AI, engineering, business, books, experiments, failures. The quote box existed because writing forces the thinking to become specific, and that reason still holds.
Posts show up when they're ready. The quote box never had a schedule either.
